Information Aggregation
In a typical Citrix environment, there is a lot of data kept in disparate sources for common entities. For instance, a XenApp server may have data kept in EdgeSight, the Configuration Logging Database, WMI, event logs, etc. The goal of Project Raley is to unify these data sources in an easily viewable web interface.
Historical Configuration Chages
Project Raley uses the Citrix Configuration Logging database to deliver context-sensitive data about Citrix configuration changes on demand – meaning that when you view a user object in Project Raley, all the changes the user has made are displayed.
Project Raley also provides a powerful searching mechanism to find changes made in your environment by harnessing the power of LINQ to SQL.
Realtime Data
Project Raley includes customized Windows Communications Foundation (WCF) services to gather real time data about your Citrix environment. Project Raley’s WCF services utilize MFCOM for environments running XenApp 5.0 and below and PowerShell for environments running XenApp 6 and above.
